This photo is definitely identified and is from Judy (Powell) Funderburg, the great-granddaughter of the couple.  They lived in Crittenden Co. until after 1900, then relocated to Paducah, McCracken Co., KY, where he was a retail grocer.

This looks like a Pierce, and is in the generation of George Washington Pierce.  The general facial shape and large earlobe are similar to the photo above, but the nose may be wrong..  This is a unmarked cabinet card.
