Notes:  A lens is generally considered wide angle if it covers an angle of 64 to 84°.  An extreme wide angle may be capable of covering up to 100° or more.  Such a lens was a necessity on a camera like the Gundlach/Manhattan Korona Wide Angle Camera on which this lens has been installed.  Actually, this lens falls short of being wide enough for the Korona WA Camera.
