Blair Camera Co. (Boston, MA)
Metal
Drop Shutter Combined with Single Achromatic Lens Variation 2 (rotating
stops) / The Lucidograph Lens, c.1885-c.1890's
4¼x5½

Notes:
The ever-inventive Blair Camera Co.
apparently placed this metal drop shutter just outside the stop wheel of
a their
Single Achromat Variation 2 / Lucidograph Lens.
The slide is about half the width of the lens barrel because a single
achromat is only sharp at small stop sizes. It doesn't seem to
have been advertised.
