Note that this catalog is the direct descendant of the Rochester Camera Mfg. Co. Catalog of 1895, in that it has the King, Rochester View, Favorite and Folding Poco models in the same order as in the previous company's catalog, i.e., the name changed but the view camera line did not. This catalog has eight more pages than the 1895 one, though, due in part to an enlarged line of Poco (leather-covered hand-and-stand) cameras. In turn, the Rochester Camera Co. would become the Rochester Camera & Supply Co. in 1897.
