Photographic Apparatus, Rochester Optical Co., (Rochester, NY), June 1898, ~6 ½"x9 ½", 84pp
At 84 pages, this is Rochester Optical's largest catalog to date, including 44 pages of cameras. The view cameras had their heyday by 1895 and a new model had not been introduced by R.O.C. since then, but their Premo line is still enlarging. Premos are given quite a few pages here, despite the fact that, as early as 1897, R.O.C. published another catalog, The Premo Camera, devoted to the Premo line. At least the engravings here back to sharp hand-cut ones, rather than the short-lived half-tone experiment of 1896.
