The Ray Camera Co., founded in 1898 by Albert Mutschler and John Robertson, was one of the companies that merged to form the Rochester Optical & Camera Co. in 1899. They produced a line of leather-covered box and hand-and-stand-type cameras. The line was still produced as such in 1900, when this catalog was issued.
