The American Annual of Photography and Photographic Times Almanac for 1901, edited by Juan C. Abel, The Scovill & Adams Co. (New York, NY), copyright 1900, ~5¾"x8¾", 345pp & 81pp ads
This is the softbound version of the almanac. The back cover is missing, leaving ads page 81 as the back surface. It is unknown whether there were further ads that have been lost from this copy. At the turn of the century, the hey-day of wooden view cameras was over, judging from the ads in this publication. Only leather-covered cameras are present, although some of them are still large (up to 8x10) and fold out the rear as well as front of the box, e.g., the Manhattan Optical Long Focus Wide Angle Wizard on page 61. There is a large, fold-out Goerz brochure that has been pasted in as part of the binding process at page 65.
