Printed in the height of the Great Depression, this catalog is undated, but the inside front cover states that the company was established in 1899 and has been in the photographic business for the past 35 years - therefore c.1934. Page after page of used equipment may represent the detritus of the depression. Regardless, used anastigmat lenses are still priced at over $100. As typical for Central Camera Co., the catalog was printed to the edge on newsprint, which is now self-destructing due to the acid content.
