The Anthony Platyscope Lens appears to be a rapid rectilinear type, i.e., two achromats, front and rear. Anthony Platyscope Variation 1 has Waterhouse stops, Anthony Platyscope Variation 2 has a lever operated iris diaphragm, and Anthony Platyscope Variation 3 has a ring operated iris diaphragm.
