Mousetrap
Shutter with Aluminum Body - c. 1905
Notes:
Thornton-Pickard made a relatively large number of mousetrap shutters
that have survived on or with American view cameras. The vast
majority of them are mahogany and brass, rather than this one, which has
a body formed out of aluminum (or perhaps I should say aluminium,
considering that it was made in the U.K.).
