William Henry Walmsley reportedly first worked at James W. Queen & Co., eventually founding W.H. Walmsley & Co. During the 1800's he sold cameras, lenses and microscopes, including those from Beck in England. He reportedly, in later life, ran J.W. Queen & Co. I have seen catalogs from Walmsley dated 1884 and 1888 (in the Library of Congress), and heard of one dated 1882. I know of none from the 1890's or later. This catalog, April, 1888 has cameras from Scovill Mfg. Co., Rochester Optical Co., The Eastman Co., E. & H.T. Anthony & Co., Blair Camera Co., And R.J. Beck & Co.
