Shortly after this catalog was printed, Ray Cameras merged with four other Rochester, NY camera firms to eventually become the new Rochester Optical Co. All the component firms had lines of leather-covered hand and stand cameras, such as these. Despite the savings of not duplicating each others lines, the days of the hand and stand plate or cut film cameras were waning, and soon, roll film cameras will rule.
