Korona Royal
- c.1903-c.1912
Korona Cameras, Gundlach-Manhattan Optical Co. (Rochester, NY),
1903, p.30
Notes:
Gundlach-Manhattan chose to advertise two very
similar, but differently named, models of camera in 1903, the
Korona VI Special and the
Korona Royal. The only difference between the two is that the
Special has a rapid rectilinear lens and the Royal has an
anastigmat lens. Why this was thought to constitute a different
model name and 2-3 additional pages of catalog is a mystery. By
1906, only the Royal model remained, but could be had with any of
several lenses, including rectigraphic or anastigmat. There; was
that so hard?
