How to Make Photographs and Descriptive Price
List
This catalog differs from both the catalogs dated Jan. 1888 and Sep. 1888, mainly in organization, such as the location of the index, and the length of the "How to Make Photographs" section. It is identical to a June 1888 catalog. This May catalog would appear to be the first appearance of a 6½x8½" size of the Ne Plus Ultra Folding Platform model. It also appears to mark the first appearance of the 1888 Instantaneous Outfit, and the disappearance of the Tourists' Pocket Outfit. A card inserted between page 74 and page 75, the owner's note for probably purchases of "Scovill's Ready Sensitized Albumen Paper, 18x22 inches, in light-tight packages 1 dozen" on page 75 and "Irving printing frames 5x7" on page 90.
